Place Petro-KwikSorb on top of spill, under leak or around machinery. Allow Petro-KwickSorb to do the work. It will absorb fuels and oils internally without assistance from user. Viscosity of the liquid is the variable. Fuels absorb almost immediately, heavy oils may take longer. Oil residues may be wiped with Petro-KwikSorb. When doing so, avoid using a saturated pad.

Wring pad by squeezing absorbed fluids into appropriate containment. Use the Petro-Squeeze unit (Stock #0670) or a mop bucket press. Pads may also be wrung by hand in small use situations. Hold the end of the pad firmly and squeeze with the other hand running the length to the opposite end and repeat.

After wringing, Petro-KwikSorb is ready to be used again.

To Clean Petro-Kwik Sorb:

Cleaning with degreaser is not necessary unless the pores of the pad become clogged with dirt or the pad is going to be stored for a long period of time. If you are simply repeating absorption steps, cleaning is not necessary.

To clean Petro-KwikSorb, submerge pad into solution of heavy-duty degreaser and water. Squeeze the pad to force air and residual oils from the pad. Hold pad under water level to cause suction of cleanser into pad. Remove from solution and squeeze to release oils and cleaner. Repeat. Rinse with clean water and squeeze. Then aerate by line drying. Store for future use.
